12V Low Flow
The Vapor Extraction Well Plug operates as a watertight locking expansion plug with the capability of having vapor or water extracted through the cap, without removing the cap from the well. It uses a compression design to secure any round opening within the diameter of its expansion gasket. The dual rubber gasket creates an air and watertight seal preventing any contamination of your well between testing periods. The Brass Quick Connect fitting remains closed until it is joined with the Quick Connect Coupling (sold separately). By using the Extraction cap you can assure that you have the most accurate sample possible. Because the line is not opened until it is connected, you can attach it directly to a SUUMA canister or a Tedlar inflation box with little to no purging involved. The included dust cap helps keep the connection port clean and free from contaminants. The tap port for extracting from the well connects to the first accessory loop, which allows you to still attach accessories to the lower loop if needed.
The extraction monitoring plug can be used to sample gas, measure well pressure, Turn any well into a simple piezometer, or take a water sample in a pressurized or artesian well. It can be adapted to accept pressure gauges or vacuum gauges.
