12V Low Flow
Working Pressure and Temperature Range
speedfit fittings are suitable for the following pressures and temperatures.
Also suitable for vacuum
Depending on the tube used, under certain conditions fittings may be used at higher pressures and temperatures.
Tube Types
Plastic Tube – Polyethylene, nylon, and Teflon conforming to the tolerances shown below.
Braided Hoses – Use of Tube to Hose Stems is essential when using braided hoses (NOT SUPPLIED BY ESP)
Metal Tube (hard) – We do not recommend speedfit fittings for hard metal tubes such as Stainless Steel or chromium plated tubes. The tubing is too hard for the teeth of the speed fit to grip into. Instead, we recommend using Compression fittings.
NOTE: It is essential that outside diameters be free from score marks and the tubing ends be cut with straight before inserting the fitting to prevent leaking.

Side Loads
Fittings should not be subject to excessive side loads and they should not be used as support brackets. Tubing and fittings should be adequately supported to prevent excessive side loading.
