12V Low Flow
The unique flexible vinyl wiper creates a suction seal to pull water into the screen
Constructed of environmentally inert materials
The internal check valve ball prevents water from flowing back into the well and won't clog with sediments
Environmental Series Qwater Well Developers are capable of lifting water with ball valve over 50 feet
Production Series Qwater Well Developers are capable of lifting water with ball valve over 100 feet
A one-person operation, which is fast and saves time
Environmental Series Qwater Well Developers are inexpensive and disposable after each use (prevents cross-well contamination)
Production Series Qwater Well Developers are reusable
Step 1: Attach the Well Developer tool to 1/2-inch PVC Riser using the provided set screw or the 1/2" PVC Male NPT/Flush Thread Adapter.
Step 2: Lower the Well Developer to the bottom of the well and attach the Upper Ball Valve Assembly and tubing to the top of the PVC pipe
Step 3: With the Upper Ball Valve closed, surge system up and down five strokes
Step 4: Open the Upper Ball Valve and surge (fast - down and slow - up) until water flows out of the tubing
Step 5: Continue to surge the well until the discharge is sediment free and/or the water clears
Step 6: Follow proper decontamination procedures before using in another well. (Qwater Does not suggest reusing well developers)
1. Attach the riser by using either tightening the small setscrew on top of the Well Developer or using the Flush Thread Adapter to provide a more secure seal.
2. Lower the Well Developer into the well, adding PVC lengths as needed, holding each link at the top with vice grips.
3. Once the Well Developer is at the bottom of the well, add the Upper Ball Valve Assembly with 5 feet of 1/2-inch ID clear vinyl tubing. (See Upper Valve Assembly photo.)
4. Insert the tubing end into a 5-gallon bucket. If possible, clamp the tubing onto the bucket or drill a 5/8-inch hole into the bucket near the top and insert the tubing through the hole to prevent the tubing from falling out.
